Rewirology
Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

Rewirology is a wellness app for professionals in high-pressure work environments. We provide breathing exercises, guided audio sessions, structured talk-down protocols, mood check-ins, and optional calendar-based reminders designed to help users manage workplace anxiety and stressful work situations.

Rewirology is operated from the United States.

Rewirology is not a medical provider. It is not therapy, a clinical service, a medical device, or a substitute for professional mental-health care.

2. What we collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve Rewirology.

Account information

When you create an account or start a trial, we collect your email address and information associated with your account.

Subscription and billing information

Payments may be processed through Stripe, Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider.

We do not see or store your full payment-card number when payment information is collected directly by a payment provider.

We may receive and store information needed to manage your access, including:

  • Subscription status
  • Selected plan
  • Trial and renewal dates
  • Transaction status
  • Payment-provider customer or transaction references

Payments made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google and are also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Mood check-in information

If you choose to use the mood check-in feature, we may collect:

  • The mood or emotional state you select
  • The date and time of the check-in
  • The account or technical information needed to save and display the check-in

We use this information to operate the mood check-in feature, display your history and patterns, personalize your experience, and improve Rewirology.

We do not use mood check-in information to diagnose you or determine that you have a medical or mental-health condition.

Additional information about mood check-ins and other information that may be treated as consumer health data is provided in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

Usage and session information

We may collect basic information about how Rewirology is used, including:

  • Sessions started
  • Breathing exercises completed
  • Audio sessions played
  • Session completion information
  • Feature interactions
  • App-performance and troubleshooting information

We use this information to provide the Service, understand which features are useful, maintain performance, identify technical problems, and improve Rewirology.

We do not sell this information or provide it to advertisers, data brokers, or employers.

Calendar information

If you enable calendar integration, Rewirology may access your calendar through Google or Microsoft.

We may store:

  • Event title
  • Event start and end time
  • Calendar provider
  • Trigger keywords you choose
  • Information about whether an event matches those keywords

We use this information to surface reminders before relevant meetings and match calendar events against trigger keywords you select.

Google and Microsoft calendar permissions may technically allow access to additional event details, such as attendees, descriptions, locations, and conferencing information. Rewirology does not intentionally store or use calendar information beyond the categories listed above.

If you choose full calendar access, Rewirology may create a private preparation event in your calendar before a relevant meeting. Rewirology is designed to create, view, update, or remove only preparation events created by Rewirology and not to edit, move, or delete your existing calendar events.

If you choose read-only access, Rewirology does not add events to your calendar and may instead send reminders through another available method.

Calendar information associated with your account is deleted when you disconnect your calendar or delete your account, subject to limited backup, security, and legal-retention periods.

Device and technical information

We may collect basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot Rewirology, including:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Browser type
  • App version
  • IP address
  • Technical identifiers
  • Error logs
  • Diagnostic information

Rewirology does not:

  • Access your device microphone for app functionality

We disclose information only as described in this Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

4. Who we disclose information to

Rewirology does not receive or store your complete payment-card number when payment details are collected directly by a payment provider.

If you subscribe through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google processes your payment and manages the associated subscription under its own terms and privacy policy.

Hosting and technology providers

We use service providers to host, store, secure, maintain, support, and operate Rewirology.

Depending on the services they provide, these providers may process:

  • Account information
  • Mood check-in information
  • Usage and session information
  • Calendar information
  • Device and technical information
  • Subscription status

These providers process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only as needed to provide services to us, subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

Analytics and performance providers

We may use analytics, error-monitoring, and performance tools to understand general usage, identify technical problems, and improve Rewirology.

We limit the information provided to what is reasonably necessary and do not authorize these providers to use Rewirology information for their own advertising purposes.

We do not intentionally provide raw mood check-in selections or calendar-event content to analytics or performance providers unless reasonably necessary to diagnose a user-requested support issue.

Calendar providers

If you enable calendar integration, we exchange information with Google or Microsoft as necessary to:

  • Connect your calendar
  • Read permitted event information
  • Match events against trigger keywords
  • Create, update, or remove Rewirology preparation events where enabled

  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Rewirology, our users, or others
  • Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the business

Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent before a materially different disclosure.

5. Audio content

All audio sessions in Rewirology are recorded or provided by us.

Users cannot upload, record, or share audio through Rewirology. We do not access your device microphone for the Service’s core functionality.

6. How we store and protect information

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These safeguards may include:

  • Encryption in transit
  • Encryption at rest where supported by our service providers
  • Access controls
  • Authentication measures
  • Security monitoring
  • Restricted administrative access

Rewirology data is not end-to-end encrypted.

Authorized personnel working for Rewirology or our service providers may have technical access where reasonably necessary for security, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.

7. How long we retain information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Rewirology, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

In general:

  • Account information is retained while your account remains active.
  • Subscription and transaction records may be retained for legal, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
  • Calendar information is deleted when you disconnect your calendar or delete your account.
  • Mood check-in and usage information associated with your account is deleted when your account is deleted, subject to limited backup and legal-retention periods.
  • Technical logs may be retained for a limited period for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

If you delete your account, we aim to delete or de-identify personal information from active systems within 30 days, except where continued retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, backups, tax, accounting, or dispute resolution.

Information stored in backups may remain for a limited period until those backups are overwritten or securely deleted.

8. Your choices

Account information

You may update certain account information through Rewirology or by contacting us.

Calendar access

You may disconnect calendar access at any time through your Rewirology account or your Google or Microsoft settings.

Disconnecting your calendar disables calendar-based features but does not otherwise affect your subscription.

Mood check-ins

Using the mood check-in feature is optional.

You may choose not to use it. Where available, you may delete your mood check-in history through your account or request deletion by contacting us.

Marketing communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message.

We may still send service-related communications, including account, billing, security, or policy notices.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated information by contacting us at privacy@rewirology.com.

Deleting your account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the platform or payment method used to purchase them.

11. Consumer health data rights

Certain United States laws may provide additional rights concerning information that relates to or may reveal a person’s physical or mental health.

Information about these rights, the categories of consumer health data Rewirology may collect, how that information is used and disclosed, and how to submit a request is provided in our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

12. Children

Rewirology is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Rewirology, contact us at privacy@rewirology.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Where applicable law requires parental or guardian permission, Rewirology may be used only after that permission has been obtained.

13. Third-party services
